How Do I Get an inPOWER Card?

Our process is quick, easy, and secure.

  1. Visit any Store

  2. Choose the Fee Plan that Works For You

    We offer two options to fit your spending style:

    • Pay-As-You-Go Plan: Pay $1.50 for signature or PIN purchase transactions. See Cardholder Agreement for more details.
    • Monthly Plan: $7.95 per month – No fee for signature or PIN purchase transactions. Get a $2.00 credit each month when you receive a qualifying direct deposit of paychecks and/or government benefits totaling at least $100.00 in one (1) calendar month. All Monthly Plan cards are automatically enrolled to receive the credit.

  3. Provide Required Information

    Customer information is required to activate your card. There is no credit check or traditional bank account required1.

  4. Set Your 4 Digit PIN & Notification Preferences

    Enroll in no-cost SMS alerts2 to be notified about card usage.

  5. Load Money

    Pay-As-You-Go Plan: $2.95 Initial load fee.
    Monthly Plan: No Initial load fee.
    The Minimum initial load is $10.00. There are no activation fees or minimum balance restrictions5 See Cardholder Agreement for more details.

  6. Get a Personalized Card at No Cost

  7. Use Your Card Anywhere Debit Mastercard® is Accepted

    When you leave our store your card is active and ready to use. Pay bills, shop anywhere, withdraw cash and more.

    Get paid up to 2 days earlier with Direct Deposit.3 Your paycheck will be deposited to your card automatically – so there’s no need to wait for a check.
